Godzilla is the roaring granddaddy of all monster movies. It’s also a remarkably humane and melancholy drama, made in Japan at a time when the country was reeling from nuclear attack and H-bomb testing in the Pacific. Its rampaging radioactive beast, the poignant embodiment of an entire population’s fears, became a beloved international icon of destruction, spawning more than 30 sequels.
Pre-order Godzilla.

Manipulating character rotation and direction is the primary interactive component of Luigi’s Mansion, with each action the player can perform with their primary tools (the Flashlight and the Poltergust) based entirely around the player rotating and directing each item at specific points in order to stun and capture ghosts. While simple to control in practice, the game very smartly makes these two items control in very similar fashions, so that A) their differences can become more apparent in terms of play (such as the fact that the ghost tends to pull you around when using the Poltergust), and B) place the focus of the game on twin-stick movement, an innovation new to Nintendo consoles at the time.

For the record, the man in the Godzilla suit is Tezuka Katsumi (手塚 勝巳, born 31 August, 1912 in Tokyo), an actor also known for appearign in "Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster" (1964) and "King Kong vs. Godzilla" (1963).

Godzilla Raids Again (1955)
Godzilla Raids Again (Japanese: ゴジラの逆襲, Hepburn: Gojira no Gyakushū, lit. 'Godzilla's Counterattack') is a 1955 Japanese kaiju film directed by Motoyoshi Oda, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya. Produced and distributed by Toho Co., Ltd, it is the second film in the Godzilla franchise. The film stars Hiroshi Koizumi, Setsuko Wakayama, Minoru Chiaki, and Takashi Shimura, with Haruo Nakajima as Godzilla and Katsumi Tezuka as Anguirus. In the film, Japan struggles to survive Godzilla's return, as well as its destructive battle against its ancient foe Anguirus.
Executive producer Iwao Mori instructed producer Tomoyuki Tanaka to immediately commence production on a second Godzilla film, fearing to lose the momentum of the first film's success. Oda was chosen to direct the film as Ishirō Honda was busy directing Lovetide.
Godzilla Raids Again was released theatrically in Japan on April 24, 1955. A re-edited, English dubbed version was released theatrically in the United States on June 2, 1959, by Warner Bros. Pictures, under the title Gigantis, the Fire Monster.
The film was followed by King Kong vs. Godzilla, released on August 11, 1962.

Toho SFX Movies Authentic Visual Book Vol. 12 Varan 1958.
This volume of the series focuses on my favorite neglected kaiju in Toho’s menagerie, Varan.
Not only are the pages filled with various detailed shots of the Varan costume, but there are also photographs of the Varan hand puppet and the infamous flying Varan puppet.
The photos are all of the “behind-the-scenes” type, and document the various stages of the film’s production.  Heck, we even get a few photos of the man himself, Haruo Nakajima, suiting up as Varan.
But did you also know that actor Katsumi Tezuka played Varan in the water scenes when it attacks the fishing boat?  I didn’t until I read this book.
This volume, like the rest of the series, is available for approximately $20.00 US from The Godzilla Store.
